Beaten Space Probe - Nine Lives

Carrying on with my Beaten Space Probe obsession of late, here Shota gives us 'Nine Lives.

An absolute auralgasm.  If this doesn't get your head nodding & your hips swaying involuntary, seek help...

BSP 001 - Beaten Space Probe - Nine Lives (112kbps lo-res preview)

This one isn't a free download. Buy it (like I did!).

When people pay for music they love, it ensures the continuation of good music. We all love a freebie but we need to support the artists as much as we can, when we can.

OK.. lecture over! ("THANKS MUM!")

Here's a bit of background information behind this tune.

The original - Heartache No.9 was released in 1979 by a British soul/funk/disco band called Delegation. It reached #57 on the American Disco Charts & reached #66 on the American R&B chart in the summer of 1980.

Formed in 1975 by Ricky Bailey, Delegation are having a bit of a comeback. You can find out more information here: http://www.delegationband.com/

For those of you with a keen ear, you may have recognised Heartache No.9 sampled in these house tracks of the last decade:

Tonite by Phats & Small (1999)

Till next time.

Enjoy!
